Variable pitch adjustment with Cyltronic electric cylinder

Flexibility through variable pitch adjustment, with the IO-Link Cyltronic CTC electric cylinder, is possible at various speeds and strokes.

In the application shown in the video, a variable pitch adjustment was carried out using a scissor lift in combination with the CTC IO-Link servo actuator realized.

Today, this corresponds to a common implementation in packaging machines and robotic grippers.

- The target position is therefore sent directly from the PLC to the fully integrated servo controller in the CTC servo actuator.
- This is done playfully via the IO-Link communication interface.
