Cyltronic electric cylinder in Wepfer knife sharpener

A knife sharpener with the Wepfer Technics retrofit kit in use with Cyltronic IO-Link servo actuators.

‍

In contrast to the usual drive with an eccentric disc, the use of the Cyltronic CTC electric cylinder ensures smooth movement along the entire travel path.

It shows the

- easy integration,

- flexibility and

- the compactness of the CTC-060 electric cylinder.

With the included control box from integration partner Girmatic AG, the desired lifting movement can be adjusted by the user.

In contrast to conventional grinding machines, a much more uniform grinding pattern is produced here, which leads to better cutting performance and a massive increase in the service life of the knife.

- Blade length adjustable from a few mm to approx. 75 mm via potentiometer

- Hedge trimmer blades can now be easily sharpened

- Now easy handling, no need for tedious screwing
