Pneumatic cylinder replacement at Kubrix AG with Cyltronic electric cylinders

At Kubrix AG, pneumatic cylinders were replaced by Cyltronic electric actuators in an automated pallet stacker system.

Kubrix, one of the largest Swiss brick factories, produces the bricks to build the walls of our houses.
The quantities of bricks produced at Kubrix in Schlatt could not be produced without automation.

The compressed air actuators cause Kubrix to burn not only because of the high energy consumption, but due to the complex tubing and the large number of components in the system, there is a high probability of failure, which repeatedly leads to downtimes and thus to production downtime.

It could a Energy savings of 94% can be achieved compared to pneumatic cylinders.
